The sub-genres of adventure films include journeys where the good guys and bad guys fight in a battle as far or near as the eye can see, survival of the fittest from danger and disaster, and historical dramas - epic adventures in their purest form that warms the hearts of everyone! The elements of each main plot in the adventure film include quests for expedition and lost continents, a jungle and/or desert settings, characters going on a treasure hunts and heroic journeys for the unknown. Adventure films are mostly set in a period background and may include adapted stories of historical or fictional adventure heroes within the historical context. For example, kings, battles, rebellion, piracy, and even films based on storybooks is what adventure is all about! War, science fiction, fantasy and love! We love adventure films!

  1. Thanks, Kevin for this blog and for mentioning my name. I didn't know that you like movies so this is a pleasant surprise. I've seen the Labyrinth and quite enjoyed it. I look forward to your next post.
